“”Movement is life, without movement life is unthinkable.””
Hi, my name is Eva and my whole life revolves around the human body and its movement patterns. I have been wearing barefoot shoes for more than 15 years and just as long I have been practicing massage and yoga — these experiences form the foundation of my knowledge of the body.
At Sparring Partners, I currently work as an instructor of group classes, mainly the Feldenkrais Method and yoga. In Feldenkrais, we focus on body awareness and conscious movement, while in yoga, we emphasize breath, stability, and the balance between lengthening and strengthening.
I also offer individual sessions for clients interested in topics such as foot function, strengthening the deep stabilizing system, breath, diastasis recovery, releasing tension, headaches and more.
I help people regain trust in their own bodies and awaken curiosity toward their innate intelligence.
I continually expand my knowledge of the human body and related topics (e.g. psychosomatics, Eastern approaches to health, and a healthy lifestyle) through daily practice and self-study. And what do I do in my free time? I move — most often Feldenkrais lessons, yoga, other group classes, walking, cycling, and inline skating. And I also enjoy qigong.
Education, courses, workshops:
My WHY:
Through the Feldenkrais Method, I help clients reconnect with their bodies and their movement. Together, we explore the body’s natural intelligence and its ability to self-correct and heal. It fulfills me to see clients standing more upright and stable after lessons — noticing themselves more clearly and building trust in their bodies, and therefore in themselves. 🙂
