another Friday is here and it means that we have for you a group lessons schedule for the upcoming week, this time with one new lesson. For the first time this Monday, you can participate on the group lesson Body balance at 8:15 AM.

 

The lessons are completely free for you. You just need to be careful to not be late.

On this day in 1355 Charles IV became Roman emperor and was crowned in Rome he was also the bohemian king and ruled until his death in 1378.

6th of April

After the successful war for independence was on this day in 1789 George Washington named as the first president of the United States of America.

7th of April

On 7th of April in 1948 the OSN has founded the World health organization.

8th of April

Jozef Gabčík one of the two soldiers that successfully assassinated the nazi protector Reinhard Heydrich in Prague in 1942 was born. The other one was Jan Kubiš.

9th of April

In 1667 the Paris museum and art gallery Louvre has organized its first ever public exhibition. Today Louvre owns some of the most valuable artworks in the world such as the painting Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci.

Do you eat enough protein?

there is one question every one of you should ask yourself. Do I eat enough protein? Protein is of the most important ingredients of the diet. Especially when we workout a lot we need even more protein than regular people.

Hypermobility in yoga

Dear Clients,

 

Have you started practicing yoga during the pandemic or are you an experienced yoga enthusiast? This can be the topic right for you.
I’m sure most of you have seen a yoga instructor (live or online) doing all these astonishing leg-behind-head poses. You wondered how’s that even possible when you can’t even touch your toes with your legs extended. The answer for it is that many of them have issues with hypermobility – congenital or developed.
Hypermobility simply said, is the ability to move your joints to an excessive range of motion, both passively and actively. Our hypermobility can have multiple reasons:
-Connective tissue disorder, which is congenital and appears
more in the women population. It usually affects all the joints in
the body.
-Local (in one joint). It happens when another joint is blocked,
and the hypermobile segment compensates for the lack of
motion in it.
-From a neural disease.
-Special temporary hypermobility appears in pregnant women
The problems are that  As your joints tend to move too much, the muscles don’t allow as much movement. It means that the muscles don’t “protect” the joint with their activity and the movement happens by lengthening the joint capsule and ligaments. This causes instability in the joint which can lead to frequent sprains, subluxations, and dislocations. Also, back, knee, and other pains can be associated with hypermobility such as early-onset osteoarthritis.

If you have a gut feeling that yoga is bad for your hypermobility, trust me, it’s not. It works with the mind-body connection, which is fundamental for managing hypermobility. And if you follow all the tips, I’ve given to you, and choose the right
the instructor who knows what he or she is doing, you can benefit from practicing yoga a lot.

Healthy routine during home office?

Dear Clients,

 

today we are going to talk about mobility. Especially during this time when we have to work from home and sit at the desk for the whole day, we need to learn how to release our body and relax.

 

In today’s video, our trainer Dan is going to show the basic routine for the mobility of your body after a long day at the desk. These exercises can help get rid of the pain which you can feel after a long time sitting on the chair in the same position.
